Together with the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village and the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, Genocide Survivors Foundation invites all to join in an online gathering to commemorate Kwibuka 27 and Yom HaShoah.
Students from the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda will share a special musical performance. As a community, we will have the opportunity learn from Celine Uwineza (survivor of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi) and Maritza Shelley (survivor of the Holocaust) as they discuss memory, healing, and educating the next generation.
