On August 20, 2020, the Female Founders Alliance bestowed its Advocate Award on Jacqueline Murekatete, the Founder and President of Genocide Survivors Foundation (GSF). In its 3rd Annual Champion Awards, the Female Founders Alliance selected Jacqueline for this honor from hundreds of nominations. Murekatete was recognized for her genocide prevention education efforts and her tireless advocacy work on behalf of genocide survivors. The Champion Awards honor champions of diversity, equity and inclusion across the United States.
Founded by Leslie Feinzaig, the Female Founders Alliance (FFA) is a network of 20,000 founders, investors, partners and supporters that collaborate to help women and non-binary startup leaders succeed. FFA offers programming, community, incubation, deal flow, and investment opportunities, with a mission to increase the number of successful founders 20 times over in 10 years or less.
